Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I really need advice?

Not if you have expertise and an in-depth knowledge of Investments, Life Insurance and Retirement Planning. However, if your expertise is in other areas and are the kind of person who likes to gather, review and evaluate relevant information about a topic in order to make an informed decision, then the answer would be yes.

Our service is all about providing you with relevant information and impartial advice so you can make informed decisions about insurance, investments and your retirement.

  • How does the process work?

Basically, there are three stages to the process:

    1. We start with an initial chat where we figure out if we can help and have a general discussion about your financial goals.
    2. Then we conduct a “fact find” where we gather information about you and your finances. All information provided is held in total confidence.
    3. Based on our analysis of the information gathered, we provide you with advice about the options available to help you achieve your financial goals.
  • What are your qualifications?

Aside and apart from having over 70 years cumulative experience in financial services, the principals are authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to carry out business as retail intermediaries.

The authorisation number issued to us by the Central Bank of Ireland is C3120.

  • When should I start thinking about this?

For life insurance, retirement planning, savings and investments it’s never too early or, indeed, too late to start protecting what’s important to you, to start putting something aside for your retirement or to start making your money work harder for you.

Now is as good a time as any.

  • Why does this matter?

Because only you can protect your family against the financial impact of you suffering a life-altering injury, serious illness or your premature death.

Because the only one who’s going to provide for you in your retirement is you.

Because these things are important to you.

  • How much does this cost?

Before we commence work, we give an estimate of the time and effort required to deliver our service. To minimise the cost of providing services to clients, we use commissions received from product providers to cover part of the cost. Where fees are required these are outlined in our Terms of Business.
