Joe Daly

Joe founded Daly Investment Planning in 2000 having spent the previous 15 years working as a senior adviser in the wealth management and financial services divisions of Bank of Ireland and as an auctioneer in Dublin and Galway.

He comes from a well-established local business and farming family with longstanding ties to the South Mayo region.

Joe believes in putting the client’s best interests first and that can only be achieved by providing impartial, independent, expert advice and communicating that advice in clear, practical, jargon-free language and by conducting all client business in total confidence with absolute discretion.

Since he established Daly Investment Planning in 2000, Joe has been advising clients in the West of Ireland and beyond about planning for important life events – from life cover to funding for a first home to funding for college to protecting your business or farm to planning for retirement and efficiently transferring your business and assets onto the next generation.

When he’s not working, Joe enjoys coaching both rugby and Gaelic teams. He is a member of the Ballinrobe Race Course Committee. He also likes reading and walking.

Professional Qualifications

Joe is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), holds a Diploma in Wealth Management, a Certificate in Investment Advice and holds a Professional Certificate in DC Pension Scheme Trusteeship (PTP).
